Stocks to Keep an Eye on: SpiceJet, BPCL, HCL Tech, RVNL, DOMS, Varun Beverages, and Others

<p><strong>Stocks to Monitor on December 20:</strong> Dalal Street was poised for a successful start on Wednesday, as the GIFT Nifty on the NSE IX traded 82 points, or 0.38 percent, higher at 21,610. These are a number of equities that will be watched closely today for different reasons.</p>

<p><strong>SpiceJet:</strong> Mumbai-based billionaire Harihara Mahapatr and his wife Preeti are expected to spend Rs 1,100 crore for a 19% stake in SpiceJet after last week’s permission of financing. Following the conversion of warrants, Elara Capital will control 8% and Aries Opportunities Fund 3%, according to The Economic Times.</p>
<p><strong>Varun Beverages:</strong> The firm said that, as part of its efforts to expand its presence across Africa, it would pay Rs 1,320 crore to buy The Beverage firm Ltd (BevCo) in South Africa.</p>
<p>Additionally, it has an agreement with the Jharkhand government to invest Rs 450 crore to establish a manufacturing factory at Patratu.</p>
<p><strong>BPCL:</strong> The establishment of a Rs 5,044 crore polypropylene (PP) facility at Kochi Refinery was authorized by the board.</p>
<p><strong>HCL Tech:</strong> One of its projects has had a ransomware problem in a remote cloud environment. It said that there hasn’t been any noticeable effect of this event on the whole HCLTech network. A thorough inquiry is in progress.</p>
<p><strong>BSE:</strong> In the equities derivatives sector, BSE will apply an extra 15% exposure margin to assets where the top 10 customers hold more than 20% of the market-wide position limit (MWPL).</p>
<p><strong>Nippon AMC:</strong> According to CNBC-TV 18, IndusInd Bank is expected to sell up to 1.79 crore shares, or 2.86 percent, in Nippon AMC via a block sale. The whole amount offered for the share is Rs 762 crore. The block deal’s floor price is fixed at Rs 426.60.</p>
<p><strong>Embassy Office Parks REIT:</strong> According to Moneycontrol, Blackstone intends to leave the real estate investment trust by selling its whole 23.6% ownership in the company in a massive $833 million block sale.</p>
<p><strong>Astral:</strong> According to CNBC-TV18, its promoter wants to sell a two to three percent interest via a block sale. In Astral, the promoter has a 55.85% share.</p>
<p><strong>IT stocks:</strong> Accenture predicted lower-than-expected revenue for the second quarter. It anticipates Q2 sales of $15.40–16 billion, as opposed to the $16.20 billion predicted by LSEG’s poll of experts.</p>
<p><strong>RVNL:</strong> In a joint venture, RVNL was awarded a Rs 124 crore project to build the Varkala Sivagir Railway Station in Kerala. RVNL has a 49% share in the joint venture.</p>
<p><strong>Petronet LNG and Deepak Nitrite:</strong> A fully-owned subsidiary of Deepak Nitrite announced that it would provide 11 KTPA of hydrogen and 250 KTPA of propylene annually to Petronet LNG. It is a 15-year agreement from the date of delivery.</p>
<p><strong>Glenmark Life, Glenmark Pharma:</strong> The planned Nirma Ltd. purchase of Glenmark Life Sciences has been authorized by the CCI.</p>
