Release of the Women’s Premier League Retention List for 2024

<p>On October 15, 2023, the opportunity for the five teams to sign players for the TATA Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2024 season closed. <p>The following players from the five WPL teams were kept on the team and released:</p>

<p>Retained Performers: Arundhati Reddy, Alice Capsey, Jemimah Rodrigues, Jess Jonassen, Laura Harris, Marizanne Kapp, Meg Lanning, Minnu Mani, Radha Yadav, Shafali Verma, Shikha Pandey, Sneha Deepthi, Taniyaa Bhatia, and Titas Sadhu</p>
<p>Released Players: Aparna Mondal, Tara Norris, and Jasia Akhter</p>
<p>GG Gujarat Giants</p>
<p>Retained Players: Dayalan Hemalatha, Harleen Deol, Laura Wolvaardt, Shabnam Shakil, Sneh Rana, Tanuja Kanwer, Beth Mooney, and</p>
<p>Released Performers: Hurley Gala, Kim Garth, Mansi Joshi, Monica Patel, Parunika Sisodia, Sabbineni Meghana, Sophia Dunkley, Sushma Verma, Annabel Sutherland*, Ashwani Kumari,</p>
<p>Indians of Mumbai (MI)</p>
<p>Amanjot Kaur, Amelia Kerr, Chloe Tryon, Harmanpreet Kaur, Hayley Matthews, Isabelle Wong, Jintimani Kalita, Natalie Sciver, Pooja Vastrakar, Priyanka Bala, Saika Ishaque, and Yastika Bhatia are the players that were kept on.</p>
<p>Released Players: Neelam Bisht, Sonam Yadav, Heather Graham, Dhara Gujjar</p>
<p>Bangalore’s Royal Challengers (RCB)</p>
<p>Asha Shobana, Disha Kasat, Ellyse Perry, Heather Knight, Indrani Roy, Kanika Ahuja, Renuka Singh, Richa Ghosh, Shreyanka Patil, Smriti Mandhana, and Sophie Devine are the players that were retained.</p>
<p>Released Players: Poonam Khemnar, Preeti Bose, Komal Zanzad, Megan Schutt, Dané Van Niekerk*, Erin Burns*, and Sahana Pawar</p>
<p>UPW (UP Warriorz)</p>
<p>Alyssa Healy, Anjali Sarvani, Grace Harris, Kiran Navgire, Lauren Bell, Laxmi Yadav, Parshavi Chopra, Rajeshwari Gayakwad, S. Yashasri, Shweta Sehrawat, Sophie Ecclestone, and Tahlia Mcgrath are the players that were retained.</p>
